How to execute a vote on Safe Governance DAO using dOrg REP
In this document, you will find the steps to execute dOrg's vote in the Safe Governance DAO using the tokens we have in our Safe account, totalling 85,644.217 SAFE tokens (updated to 2023). It's worth noting that we are among the first 70 holders out of 11k+ holders in Safe Governance DAO.
Step 1️⃣
As dOrg is a DAO with over 80 members (distributed between building and chilling status), the first step is to create a Discord poll in the 🧲 general channel with the following details:
- Proposal Name
- Deadline for voting
- Link to the proposal on Snapshot
- Available options in the proposal
Step 2️⃣
After dOrg has conducted its internal poll, access Snapshot from the dOrg Safe account within Gnosis.
Step 3️⃣
Once logged in with the dOrg account, navigate to the SafeDAO space and look for the active proposal that dOrg internally consulted. Choose the option agreed upon by dOrg builders.
Step 4️⃣
Upon confirming the vote on Snapshot, a message will appear to collect owner confirmations. After this message, sign with the wallet of the member executing the transaction. Then, go to the dOrg Safe, navigate to transactions, and then to messages to confirm that the transaction has started.
Step 5️⃣
In this final step, send a reminder to the signers to go to the dOrg Safe, click on transactions, then on messages, and approve the decision.
